Acer's latest Ferrari-branded laptop
Acer has just announced its latest Ferrari-design laptop called Ferrari 5000. This computer features a 15.4-inch display and powered by a dual-core AMD Turion X2 processor with (AMD PowerNow!™ and Hyper Transport™ technology;1MB L2 Cache; chipset ATI Xpress 1150), but this version of the Turion X2 uses the new 638-pin Socket S1 which allows dual-channel, so in this case fewer pins means better memory access. It is also equipped with ATI Radeon Mobility X1600 graphics card which includes 256MB of dedicated DDR3 memory, 2GB of 667MHz DDR2 memory (up to 4GB), and 160 GB Serial ATA hard disk drive.
